Tawny ~ American Bourbon

Aged in a bourbon barrel and influenced by American Bourbon spirit, this tawny with its slightly stronger flavour and almost syrup-like quality (no added sugar) is rich, strong, and very smooth - beautiful!

The barrels used to age our American Bourbon Tawny were used in used for a maximum of four years to age American Bourbon. A constitutional requirement stipulates this condition; hence, these barrels were generally thrown away or sold. Roger was able to secure a number these ‘wet’ barrels and worked with his cooper to create the perfect storehouse for our rich, smooth American Bourbon Tawny.
